In this world, we are all just like rubber bands. Moving and doing the unimaginable just to have some gratification. So someone will say “I’m so proud of you” or so we can create the narratives of what people think we should be. As the holidays approach take the time to evaluate the last year allow yourself to breathe and reflect on your needs and your energy. It is far too easy to fall under the expectations of others because we are so scared of disappointment (trust) I know the feeling all too well, but hey no one is YOU. not in feelings, not in emotions, energy, or anything else. People empathize but never truly know how much effort it takes just to live.

Stand up, take your ground, decide, defend, and honor your soul because nothing is worth losing your light. We are not elastic we don’t have to endure so much for absolutely nothing. Choose comfort, compassion, and grace. Do not drown yourself trying to stay afloat. Be content and do not let anyone make you feel inferior for we are all human beings not superior to anyone.

Fight, cherish, heal, and embrace everything that has made you here today. Grow into the best version of you. The sun will always shine and no matter what you are someone’s favorite person so do not ever give in to the pressure and opinions of society! Be happy. Be you. I’m rooting for you!
